Good news for ‘Home Made’ fans. The popular conversion program will soon be back, but the new season will start with a twist. The couples who start the renovation adventure will no longer do so in unfamiliar buildings…
All renovation candidates can visit the new buildings in advance. “‘Home made’ is coming back… and how! This time, everyone can come and discover our properties during the open days,” says moderator Dina Tersago. In addition, VTM also announced the locations of the three buildings. One of the buildings to be renovated is again in Antwerp. The other two houses are in Aalst and Hasselt. Interested parties don’t have to wait any longer. From now on you can register for the open days and thus also for the new season. After the viewing days, the couples who can start the big renovation adventure will be chosen. When the new season can be seen on VTM will be announced later.
Discover the three hidden treasures
aalst
This stately townhouse is located near the impressive water tower. The graceful mosaic floors, the bombastic fireplaces and the four spacious bedrooms hide a rich past. This beautiful home has been neglected for years and lost its charm. Today only the existing Christmas decorations give an idea that this was once a warm home. This 217m2 vacant lot is in dire need of some care and love.
Antwerp
This stunning 1927 mansion is located in the south of Antwerp. The impressive entrance hall, the spacious living room and the original features were once the scene where a wealthy clientele bought their fur coats. This five-room house has belonged to the same family for almost a hundred years. For a year there has been no life and it seems to be breathing its last. time to change that.
hasselt
The pretty villa ‘t Hofje from the 1950s is located in Hasselt. The garden, which was once the great pride of the estate and the owner, is now one big wilderness. The ruined porch was a beautiful orangery long ago. In ‘t Hofje, time has literally stood still for five years. So the house longs for a likeable couple to come and breathe new life into it.
