Jacques Vermeire (71) and Axel Daeseleire (54) will be visiting flea markets and vintage shops again from February 2nd. In the second season of “Once Again” they get help from Koen Wauters (55), Francesco Planckaert (40) and Margriet Hermans (68).
Together with a well-known head, Jacques and Axel search for antique gimmicks, which they then pimp up and then try to sell as profitably as possible at the auction. Towards the end of the series, all totals are added up and the one with the highest win is awarded the Once Again trophy. Last season, Daeseleire won the argument, so Vermeire seeks revenge. “It’s never happened to me again,” he says. “For me it’s not just a game: having fun discovering things and me belong together. So I really feel like I have something to prove in this second season. I think Axel is a very cool person, but now it’s just as tough on tough (laughs).”
The new season of “Once Again” starts on Thursday, February 2 at 8:35 p.m. on VTM. Proceeds from the auctioned items will go to “JEZ!”, the brand new youth collective supported by VTM, Qmusic, HLN and Belfius. Money is raised for 200 organizations that support young people in Flanders and Brussels.
