Sour defeat for Club Brugge against KV Kortrijk. It was Rik De Mil’s first loss since taking over as head coach from Scott Parker. But de Mil himself obviously didn’t want to jump to conclusions.
After the final whistle, the club’s manager chatted with Roman Yaremchuk in the players’ tunnel. The striker had come in and missed a good chance to equalise, but De Mil had some positive news for him (see video above). “This isn’t a step back, it’s a step forward,” De Mil says above. “The only thing we missed was efficiency.”
