The winner gets everything. Immediately after the Milan-Sanremo win, Mathieu van der Poel received a big hug and kiss from his girlfriend Roxanne Bertels. Wout van Aert found solace in his wife Sarah De Bie.
Since Mathieu van der Poel and Wout van Aert meet almost all year round, Roxanne Bertels – Van der Poel’s girlfriend – and Sarah De Bie – Van Aert’s wife – know each other a little bit now. After the arrival of Milan-Sanremo, the two could be seen chatting for a while longer.
Shortly before, Roxanne had rushed to Van der Poel to congratulate him on his victory, as you can see in the video above. Sarah De Bie then had a consolation kiss for Van Aert.
