No more regular episodes of De Mol or The Masked Singer. So the finale of the Eurovision Song Contest could take its course. And ranks highest in the weekly viewers list with 1,334,256 viewers.
Striking detail: the show, which lasted more than four hours, was almost exclusively watched live in Flanders. Pure family entertainment and with a high “must-see” content. Only 24,000 viewers were watching until seven days after the broadcast. Gustavh didn’t break an attendance record at Liverpool. Hooverphonic, for example, reached 1,479,665 viewers two years ago.
Four programs easily reached the one million viewer mark. On Sunday, “Chateau Planckaert” jumped over “De Mol”, which already knew the exit a week earlier with the unmasking of the saboteur Commy. “De Mol” ended an excellent season with 1,117,499 viewers (including a quarter of a million delayed fans).
“Thuis” continues to score among soap operas. However, just as with “Family”, this is increasingly due to the phenomenon of delayed viewing. The most watched “Thuis” episode reached 1,110,861 viewers on the weekly list. On the day itself, Thuis attracted 1,011,958 fans. “Family” reached 539,878 fans live. About 140,000 spectators later watched.
At VTM, “Special Forces” is the most-watched show. The series continues to score, climbing to 893,599 viewers. This excellent result masks the slightly worse results of other VTM programs, all of which can be found in the lower regions of the top 20. On Friday, VTM even feels VRT1’s breath with the series “The Tower” with “I Can See Your Voice”.
In the Construction and Renovation Programs category, newcomer Our House, New House beats Blind Bought. VTM’s “Million Houses” started later.
